ID Jovem 3.0.3

The ID Jovem, implemented by the National Secretariat for Youth, was established by the Youth Statute (Law No. 12,852/2013) and regulated by Decree No. 8,537/2015. It is a free virtual identification document that allows young people from low-income backgrounds to access various benefits, such as a 50% discount on cinemas, theaters, shows, and other artistic, cultural, and sports events; two free tickets and two tickets with a 50% discount on interstate transportation by vehicle, vessel, or rail convoy in the conventional category; and exemption from the payment of fees for issuing a Student Identity Card.

It is not necessary to be studying to be eligible for ID Jovem.

What will I find in this application?

In addition to obtaining your ID Jovem, the application shares news, programs, and actions of the Federal Government targeting youth. It also offers the following features: the ability to issue more than one card per mobile device, notification alerts for card expiration, FAQs, and access to the support team through "Fale Conosco".

Furthermore, business owners can register to validate ID Jovem cards presented by low-income young people in their establishments for granting benefits. They can also access an exclusive area for frequently asked questions and the support team through "Fale Conosco".

What do you need to have the ID Jovem?

You must be between 15 and 29 years old, have a monthly family income of up to two minimum wages, and be registered in the Unified Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico). To issue the card, it is necessary that the beneficiary youth knows their Social Identification Number (NIS) and that their registration with CadÚnico has been updated in the last 24 months.

How can I generate my ID Jovem?

To generate your youth identity, simply fill in the following information in the "Generate Card" field:

• Social Identification Number (NIS)
• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Mother's Name

How can I find out my NIS - Social Identification Number?

There are several ways to find out your NIS by accessing the "Meu CadÚnico" website and application, Citizen Card, FGTS Extract, Work Card, and calling 0800 707 2003. If you can't find it, visit the nearest Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) and bring your identification documents.
